Creative Thinking Process

Week 8 Content – the tutorial was about the elements and principles of design , the creative thinking processes and colour psychology. This tutorial was online due to the Thursday being ANZAC Day.

Creative thinking is the design process, creative process and the research.

How does one start the creative thinking process?

The key components discussed were

• just starting

• brainstorming

• keeping a visual diary

• the design principles and elements

• the ideation process

• model making and getting hands on

• importantly it's okay to fail and make mistakes, it's the creative and learning process for any design.

Further more we went over a case study and how one would design a new music shop for a man who enjoys the french culture and music, specifically compositions.
